Lent 2017 – Day Thirty-Seven
There is a consequence for everything on this earth and the consequence of sin is death. It is guaranteed that when you live a sinful life and do not accept Jesus Christ as your saviour, you will face death. Death in this context is spiritual and eternal death. But the gift of God, which is also free, is eternal life in Christ Jesus. When we put aside sin and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, we are guaranteed eternal life. What would you choose: death or life? I choose life.
