Paul was boasting about his infirmity because he knew God had his back. Of all the things he wanted to boast about, he chose to boast about the very thing that every reasonable person will hide away. This is because the God who had his back has great power and is capable of doing the impossible. There is nothing too hard for God.

Let us encourage new believers and people called to do the work of God, to stay in the church. Let us be the ones who are willing to stand in and vouch for them.
We never know, perhaps the single act of faith of vouching for them may be what causes them to stay in the church and do what God has called them to do.
