Ghana’s Drought Ends Today!

“And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.”
1 Kings 18:41, 45 KJV
Today, Ghana celebrated 60 years of independence from the British and the Lord crowned our 60th Independence Anniversary with a great rain. This is significant and important given the theme of the anniversary – Ghana: 60 Years On. And also today, the President cut the sod and committed to building a National Cathedral because according to him (the President) we ought to be grateful to God for how far He has brought us as a country.
You may not be spiritual and you may consider all this to be a coincidence; but I believe in the designer of the great universe in which we live. Nothing is by chance. Just like the drought ended in Israel some many years ago, Ghana’s drought ends today.
60 Years On! Remember this day! Save this post!
